Canada Start up Visa - Business Immigration

Canada has a strong economic culture and supports Business migrants.  If an applicant has experience running or investing in businesses, he may qualify for business immigration to Canada from India.

In this category, Canada Start-up visa or Business Immigration is designed to attract experienced business people to come to Canada. The successful applicants for Canada Start-up visa program are those who can invest in Canada, start businesses in Canada and generate revenues and employment for Canadians.

Under the Canada Start-up visa program, Canada offers Canadian permanent residence to qualified immigrant entrepreneurs. Candidates can initially move to Canada on a work permit supported by their designated Canada-based investor, before qualifying for permanent residence once their business is up and running.

The applicant needs to have the support of an agency approved by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that is willing to invest in the new business to contribute in the Entrepreneur Startup Visa program.

For an applicant to qualify for Canadian entrepreneur start-up visa one should meet the following Canada business visa requirements:

1. Prove that your business idea is supported by a designated investor organization and have the knowledge in the Business idea you plan to setup.

3. The applicant should prove that the business meets the ownership requirements.

The applicant who is looking at start-up in Canada must secure a minimum investment of $200,000. If the investment comes from a designated Canadian venture capital fund, investor group, the applicant must secure a minimum investment of $75,000. You don't need to secure a financial investment from a business incubator. The goal of a business incubator is to help start-up and early-stage companies grow and succeed in Canada.

Selected organizations in Canada are business groups that are approved to invest in or support possible start-ups through the Canada Start-up Visa Program.

Establishments in Canada choose which business proposals to review. Individually organization has its own intake process for suggestions and criteria used to assess them. For example, you may be asked to present your business concept in person or submit a detailed business plan.

If an organization decides to review your business idea, it'll assess the potential of your proposal and whether or not it'll succeed in Canada depending on the business plan, experience you have in the business you plan to start in Canada and the amount of minimum investment.

If an organization chooses to support your business idea, it'll give you a Letter of Support which is very important for the success of your visa application.
