CANADA INVITES APPLICANTS ON PROVINCE NOMINATION AND CANADIAN EXPERIENCE ON 413 POINTS

Canada’s Express Entry system achieves to select profiles of applicants under three of Canada’s main economic-class immigration programs, the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FST) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Canada has till date issued over 30,000 ITAs to Express Entry applicants  despite mid-March Covid-19 border restrictions regardless of fears of a global downturn COVID-19 pandemic, the immigration policy analyst feels that the high immigration intake is acceptable with more than 9 million Canadians accomplish retirement age in the next decade.   • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has been aiming CEC and PNP applications over the past three months since they are probable to already be in Canada and are less likely to be affected by the current restrictions in place due to the coronavirus.
  • CRS cut-off scores for CEC for applicants have declined in every single CEC draw since the introduction of travel restrictions global downturn COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The 25th June 2020 selection process was the lowest CRS for CEC for applicants since Canada’s 31st May 2017 draw that had a CRS on 413 points. There were 3508 invitations issued on this selection process. 
  • There has been a substantial downward trend in CRS cut-offs lately the start of the pandemic and certain they has been declined in every single Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw in recent months and it seems like there is possibilities for scores to continue to drop further. 
  • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued Invitations To Apply (ITA) to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program applicants with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores as low as 431 points.

  • Canada's success is largely due to the contributions made by the new immigrants and one of the world's top immigration destinations with over 250,000 new immigrants arriving in Canada every year. 
  • Canadian Immigration system is so progressive that the Canadian Government's statistics division foresees that by 2031 over half of all working age people in Canada will have been born overseas.  
  • Canada is set to bring in more than 1 million new immigrants over the next three years, with a yearly intake that might reach as high as 390,000 in year 2022.

While IRCC is yet to provide data as to when the next FSW draw would take place, prospective applicants who wish to migrate to Canada are advised to submit fully loaded profiles to the Express Entry pool.  Through lodging an application under Express Entry even if the points system they are achieving under CRS score, the applicant may get selected through the system if an FSW draw is held and may be eligible to obtain Province Nomination or get selected through Canada’s territories when the draw takes place through the Express Entry
