On 11th November the Minister for Immigration released latest information regarding the new Points test. The information can also be found at https://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/whats-new.htm
The new points test is proposed to take effect from 1 July 2011, subject to passage of supporting legislation through the Parliament. It will apply to anyone lodging an application from 1 July 2011.
